Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Captain to run and manage a 50-60' yacht based in Crown Bay for private operations (this is not a charter boat). The Captain must be a current USVI resident, be familiar with the waters in the USVI and BVI and hold at least a USCG 100 ton master (200 ton preferred) license.

The Captain must have an impeccable safety record and have at least 5+ years of experience in private operations aboard a yacht with exceptional references. The ideal Captain is composed and cool under pressure and knows how to foster a safe, but fun-family atmosphere. The Captain must be familiar with water toys (e-foils, sea bobs, etc.).

The Captain must be able to troubleshoot systems and be resourceful to address any matter that arises with the vessel. The Captain must also be organized and be able to maintain records related to the operations and expenses related to the vessel and also have a strong relationship with local service providers and/or other yacht crew members in the even additional crew is needed from time to time (stew/chef, etc.).

This is not a charter captain position, but a full-time year round position in a family environment (this is not a party yacht). The Captain is expected to maintain the vessel in top notch condition and ensure it is ready for operation at any time.

Significant use of the vessel is expected during weekends with most of the cruising in the USVI/BVI areas.

The Captain will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of vessel operations, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations, and maintaining high standards of performance and safety. This role requires strong leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.

This is a full time, long-term position with significant benefits available for the qualified Captain, which will be discussed during the interview.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
