Job Title: Systems Administration for HPC Linux cluster

Assignment: 6+ Months

Location: Newton MA 02467 (Initial remote for 1 month)

Salary: $70/hr

Job Summary:

Perform Maintenance and Systems Administration for HPC cluster

• Manage user jobs and cluster configuration using Slurm
• Assist researchers in job scheduling and troubleshooting slurm job submissions
• Building and installing software on Linux Systems
• Working with support vendors to maintain systems
• Execute the migration/upgrade plan and validation procedure
• Monitor System Health and Proactively diagnose issues
• Create accounts and assist users in managing permissions

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Linux system administrator
• Experience with Slurm Job Scheduler
• Familiarity with shell scripting, cron
• Managing Cluster Storage Solutions
• WekaFS, and CEPH Familiarity
• Open on Demand experience
• Comfortable diagnosing and working on Dell hardware
