Job description
Description: Manage Athena biometric identification programs to include serving as Program Manager of the Iraq automated biometric identification system (IABIS) program. Duties include delivering systems and services required by the IABIS contract, managing subcontractors, interfacing with US Army managers, procuring needed items, maintaining budgets and schedules, managing project risks, coordinating delivery and shipping of items overseas, preparing periodic work reports, and meeting contract delivery items. Additional duties include pursuing new customers in the biometric identification market. Successful candidate must be able to travel into the CENTCOM to meet with stakeholders and deployed staff.
BS degree in engineering or computer science
10+ years experience developing and delivering software systems to federal customers
Understanding of biometric matching technology and operations
5+ years managing department of defense projects
Ability to travel into the CENTCOM to meet with stakeholders and staff.
Design and development of multi-modal ABIS solutions and biometric collection technology
PMI certified PMP
Certified scrum master
CENTCOM biometrics intelligence operations
Understanding of federal acquisition regulations and procurement practices
Ability to author proposals and complex technical reports.
Understanding of EBTS
Ability to author project management and engineering plans
Salary $130k to $170k depending in skills and experience.
