Job Title: IT Manager

Location: On-site (Food Manufacturing Plant)
Starting Pay: $60,000 yearly (pay is dependent on experience)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive IT Manager to oversee and support all day-to-day technology operations at our food manufacturing facility. This is a standalone role responsible for maintaining our plant's network infrastructure, providing technical support to all departments, and leveraging technology to improve plant efficiency. The ideal candidate is hands-on, service-oriented, and capable of troubleshooting a wide variety of systems ranging from office networks to automation equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily technical support to staff across all departments, including password resets, printer setup, shared drive troubleshooting, and internet connectivity issues.
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot the plant's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems to ensure consistent uptime.
- Support and help optimize our ERP system; serve as an internal resource for ERP user assistance.
- Configure, install, and support hardware, software, and peripheral systems across the organization.
- Troubleshoot machine-level IT issues and interface with production equipment as needed (basic understanding of ladder logic is a plus).
- Work with UR (Universal Robots) pallet stacking systems to ensure continued automation efficiency.
- Lead initiatives to streamline operations and improve process automation using technology.
- Monitor network security and ensure proper access control protocols are in place.
- Assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and hardware/software coordination.
- Optionally oversee or collaborate with external IT service providers or support specialists as needed.
Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of IT experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of hardware/software systems, networking, and IT troubleshooting.
- Prior exposure to ERP systems (experience with manufacturing ERP platforms a plus).
- Familiarity with industrial automation systems and basic electrical knowledge desirable.

Work Environment:
This is an on-site role based in a small food manufacturing plant. Candidate must be comfortable supporting both office-based and plant-floor technology in a fast-paced environment.
