Overview of our services

We help entrepreneurs and Nonprofits start and maintain their businesses by providing incorporation start-up services and ongoing annual compliance services necessary to keep their companies. For Nonprofits, we also assist them in obtaining their 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status and meeting ongoing IRS requirements by preparing and filing annual 990 tax filings and providing growth and development support to help emerging nonprofits get off the ground.

Overview

BryteBridge is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Senior UI/UX Software Engineer to drive the creation of exceptional user experiences that support our mission to empower dreamers and doers to launch and grow sustainable, compliant organizations. With over 50,000 nonprofits and small businesses relying on BryteBridge for business formation and compliance services, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless, intuitive interactions for clients as they embark on their entrepreneurial journeys.

The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of cutting-edge front-end systems, focusing on creating engaging, responsive, and accessible user interfaces that elevate the client experience. In addition to front-end work, the role involves collaborating with back-end teams to build holistic solutions that seamlessly integrate UI/UX with powerful back-end functionality.

Role Expectations

  • Design & Build Engaging User Interfaces: Lead the design and development of visually appealing, intuitive, and user-centric interfaces, ensuring consistency across platforms and devices.
  • Contribute to UX Design Processes: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to gather user requirements, develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes, and iterate based on user feedback.
  • Enhance User Experience: Focus on optimizing the user journey and improving usability for clients through thoughtful design, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards.
  • Collaborate on Front-End Development: Implement and maintain the front-end components of applications, ensuring clean, reusable code and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Drive Front-End Innovation: Research and integrate modern UI frameworks and technologies to enhance performance, interactivity, and visual appeal.
  • Bridge UI/UX and Back-End: Collaborate with back-end developers to ensure seamless integration between user interfaces and server-side logic, while advocating for UI performance improvements.
  • Maintain Design Consistency: Establish and enforce design system guidelines to ensure cohesive and scalable user interfaces across all BryteBridge platforms.
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Address and resolve UI/UX issues, performance bottlenecks, and cross-browser inconsistencies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay current with UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies to drive innovation in how we build and improve client-facing products.
  • Automate and Simplify: Develop scripts or tools to automate manual processes within the front-end workflow, enhancing team productivity.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver thoughtful, polished, and high-performing user experiences that meet both business and user needs.
  • Shape BryteBridge’s UI/UX Strategy: Provide input on UI/UX strategy, ensuring our design decisions are data-driven and aligned with user and business objectives.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of UI/UX Engineering Experience: Proven experience building high-impact, user-centered web applications with a strong focus on front-end development.
  • Expertise in Front-End Technologies: Deep understanding of modern web technologies and frameworks such as HTML5, CSS3, SCSS, JavaScript, React, and REST APIs. Familiarity with responsive design principles, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization.
  • Passion for UI/UX Design: A keen eye for aesthetics, usability, and interaction design, coupled with a deep understanding of user-centric design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency with Design Tools: Experience working with design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) to create prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs.
  • Strong Knowledge of Accessibility Standards: Ability to implement inclusive design practices, ensuring accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1) across all platforms.
  • Proven Track Record of Front-End Innovation: Demonstrable experience contributing to the design and development of modern, responsive, and performant front-end architectures.
  • Problem-Solver with Attention to Detail: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex UI/UX challenges, focusing on clean, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong collaboration and communication abilities, with experience working cross-functionally with product teams, designers, and developers.
  • GitHub/Portfolio: Demonstrate a strong portfolio of previous work in UI/UX design and front-end development, showcasing clean, accessible, and responsive code.

Education/Experience Requirements

  • A degree in computer science or a related field preferred.

OSHA Requirements

  • This position requires the ability to stand or sit for long periods, file documents in high or low cabinets, use the telephone, and use computer systems.

Compensation

  • Competitive salary based on experience, plus benefits including paid time off, health plan including medical/dental/vision, paid sabbatical, and participation in company-sponsored 401 (k) retirement account with company matching contribution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
