About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Administrator / Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ. This full-time, onsite role is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about network infrastructure and cybersecurity best practices.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing robust network environments, with a strong emphasis on Cisco systems. In addition to network administration, you will play a key role in protecting our organization’s infrastructure by applying industry-standard cybersecurity principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls, and wireless systems.
- Administer and configure Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and controls aligned with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and risk analyses.
- Monitor systems for security breaches and investigate potential incidents.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for network and security-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation for network architecture, configurations, and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in network design, implementation, and management.
- Strong proficiency with Cisco technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices (NIST, ISO, etc.).
- Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and SIEM tools.
- Ability to conduct risk assessments, threat analysis, and vulnerability management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to work full-time onsite in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, etc.).
- Cybersecurity certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP, etc.).
- Experience with network monitoring and analysis tools.
Contract-to-Hire Details:
- This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.
- Full-time onsite work is required (no remote or hybrid options available).
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
