CTS-Companies a provider of Business Technology Services in the Michigan area is seeking a motivated individual to join our team. Based in Bloomfield Hills we have been servicing our customers for over 45 years. We are looking to fill a Systems Engineer position providing IT Services and servicing a broad array of networking equipment, software, Products and Cloud Services from companies like Microsoft, VMware, Dell, Juniper, Aruba Networks, and plenty of others with opportunity for advancement. Become the industry expert everyone wants to be. The individual will need to have good customer service and communication skills, be detailed oriented, and do company provided/paid for training. Position allows for work from home ability.

Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience with routing and switching technologies
• 10+ years’ experience with installing and repairing Windows based operating systems (2016, 2019, 2022 and 10/11)
• 8+ years’ experience with Linux based operating systems and system Administration
• 5+ years’ experience with VMware vSphere/Data Center Administration
• 7+ years’ experience with Windows AD Administration
• Juniper JNCIS or Cisco CCNP
• Be very proficient with the following protocols- TCP/IP, PPP, T1
• Designing and Implementing IPSec based VPN’s
• Familiar with different storage technologies and networks (iSCSI, FC, FCoE)
• Familiar with 802.11 based wireless technologies/standards
• VoIP Experience, or required to learn on the job
• Understanding of QoS and Protocol use

Additional desired qualifications:

• Microsoft Certifications
• Linux Certification or experience
• VMware VCP Certification
• Wireless Certification from any manufacturer

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
