We are one of the largest Vactor and Elgin dealers in the United States and sell, service and rent sewer cleaners, vacuum excavators, street sweepers and related accessories. We are the largest supplier in the Western U.S. of replacement brushes and brooms for sweeping equipment. We maintain five full-service locations in Portland, Oregon; Kent, Washington; Spokane, Washington; Fairfield, California; and Salt Lake City, Utah and our customer base consists of the largest municipalities and contractors in the Western U.S. Our equipment is critical to keeping our streets and sewer systems clean, locating buried infrastructure during construction projects, and helping to build and maintain our electrical grid.

Position Summary:

The ERP Systems Administrator will serve as the primary technical support resource for our SQL-based ERP platform, eBS NextForWindows. This role is critical in supporting daily business operations, ensuring data integrity, and improving system functionality across the organization. You will work directly with the VP of IT and serve as the main point of contact for all eBS-related issues and initiatives.

Salary: $70,000 - $110,000; depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary support contact for eBS NextForWindows users across the organization.
  • Provide hands-on technical assistance, training, and user support for ERP functions and processes.
  • Open, manage, and resolve support tickets with the ERP vendor and follow through to completion.
  • Manage user accounts, including onboarding/offboarding and permission assignments.
  • Write and execute standard SQL queries to support reporting, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
  • Perform manual data cleanup and corrections as needed to maintain data accuracy.
  • Develop and run test scripts for evaluating new features, updates, or customizations.
  • Enter and manage data within eBS NextForWindows
  • Troubleshoot system interfaces and integrates with other platforms or tools.
  • Investigate and resolve functional and technical issues, including customizations and bugs.
  • Document system configurations, business processes, and internal procedures.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve system usage and efficiency.
  • Assist with implementation, configuration, and support of additional enterprise applications.
  • Normalize and prepare data for system imports, updates, or reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with ERP or accounting systems in a technical support capacity.
  • Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with SQL Server.
  • Experience with writing queries and performing data analysis is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Access.
  • Familiarity with VBA or basic scripting is a plus.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and operational workflows as they relate to ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a flexible and proactive approach to task management.
