Skills Required

• Strong programming skills: must be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL to collect, manipulate, and analyze data effectively.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization: have a deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization tools.
• Familiarity with tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of big data technologies: familiar with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases to process and store large datasets.
• Proficient in big data technologies like Hadoop and AWS native services.
• Experience with data mining, data cleaning, and data preprocessing: must have the skills to identify patterns and extract meaningful insights from raw data. This involves cleaning and preprocessing the data to ensure its quality and relevance.
• Ability to undertake data science exploratory projects/use cases independently and present/demo the analysis and conclusion to the internal and external user community.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills: must possess excellent communication skills and excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically.

Minimum Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in software development using Python, and R.
• 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following solution areas:
• Data Standardization
• Aggregation
• Text mining
• Web Scraping
• Classical Machine learning modeling.
• Experience working with Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Experience with version control software.
• Experience with documenting models.
• SAS, Github experience, and cloud computing are a plus.

Educational Requirement:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
