We are seeking a Hardware-Software Developer / ML Engineer to join our team in innovating, developing, testing, and deploying the next generation of learning experiences and applications that leverage machine learning and smart systems. This is a part-time opportunity created due to growth.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test EdTech software solutions.
• Prototype and deploy smart systems and devices (using Raspberry Pi).
• Develop, document, and maintain high-quality software.
• Collaborate with the team to design learning applications powered by AI/ML.

Required Qualifications

• Expertise in one or more programming languages: Python, Java, C++.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with Raspberry Pi, chatbots, text-to-speech, big data techniques, and querying tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• Must pass a background check.
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing software products or services with machine learning, data science, or AI components.
• Prototyping smart devices using Raspberry Pi, familiarity with Linux-based OS, and basic soldering skills.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) and experience deploying applications using cloud services.
