Network Engineer

Financial Additions is assisting a reputable client in Fort Worth with a Network Engineer position. The ideal candidate brings a background in CISCO IOS, is extremely detail oriented and has excellent job stability and tenure.

This position is in office in Downtown Fort Worth, and travels 15-20%.

What you will do:

• Configures, installs, monitors and maintains network hardware, including routers, firewalls and switches.
• Designs and architects Cisco and Meraki network infrastructure solutions, including WAN, LAN, WLAN, VPN, and firewall configurations
• Monitors network performance, analyzes data and optimizes the network
• Maintains up to date network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures
• Install, terminate, test and troubleshoot fiber and network cabling
• Identify and resolve networking issues

What qualifications you will bring:

• Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• 5+ years experience managing and supporting Cisco technology
• Strong knowledge of Cisco IOS, NC-OS, and Meraki operating systems, as well as TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols and VPN technologies
• CCNP certification preferred
