Job description
Medical practice in need of a scribe. Duties will include entering medical data, completing medical notes and sending referring physician notes. Typical days include seeing 20-30 patients and there are a number of mornings a week that the doctor is in surgery for the notes to be completed. Typing skills, medical assisting skills and medical terminology are all very helpful. I strongly desire someone with experience with a busy medical practice, but I am willing to train the right candidate.
Summary
As a Medical Scribe, you will be integral to the healthcare team, supporting physicians by accurately documenting patient encounters and maintaining comprehensive medical records. Your core skills in medical terminology, transcription, and EHR systems will ensure precise and timely documentation. You will utilize your knowledge of anatomy and physiology to enhance the quality of medical documentation. This role requires strong typing abilities and familiarity with medical office processes, allowing you to contribute effectively to patient care and streamline operations in a fast-paced medical environment.
