About Our School
Wildflower Open Classroom is a small, student-centered charter school committed to providing a collaborative, innovative, and nurturing environment for students and staff. We are seeking a knowledgeable and hands-on Technology Coordinator to support our school’s technology infrastructure and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Position Overview
The Technology Coordinator is responsible for maintaining and improving the school’s technology systems, including hardware, software, and network infrastructure. This role provides technical support to staff and students, coordinates technology purchasing and inventory, and helps integrate technology into classroom instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computers, tablets, printers, projectors, and other devices.
- Provide prompt technical support to staff and students for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage and maintain the school’s network, internet, Wi-Fi, and security systems.
- Support educational software, learning management systems, and classroom technology tools.
- Oversee inventory and deployment of devices (student Chromebooks, staff laptops, etc.).
- Collaborate with school leadership to plan technology upgrades and purchases.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and cybersecurity protocols.
- Provide basic training and guidance to staff on technology tools and best practices.
- Coordinate with outside vendors or contractors for specialized services when needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
