eNGINE is hiring a Systems Administrator to support the enterprise virtualization initiatives for a financial services environment. This role will be centered around data center work with the VMWare, providing updates and fixes to the VMWare stack (VCenter, Site Recovery Manager, Aria, VReps, security updates, etc.) . This includes day-to-day maintenance, monthly patching, automation, and reporting for 100+ server landscape.
The successful person will immerse themselves to deeply understand the environment, plan for upgrades, including direction for virtualization with VMWare across the company. Strong understanding in detail server and network analysis, operations, reporting and logging, SAN's, patching and server replication. 5+ years experience with VMWare EXSI hosts.
Must be able to be onsite 5 days a week - Monday through Friday. May include weeked
