In this position you will be responsible for the following: Directs, plans, organizes, and administers database system activities for agency wide information systems.As supervisor, plan, organize and administer workload for Database Specialist.Leads, designs, and maintains enterprise database to support agency applications.Meets with customers and analysts to determine information needs and database requirements.Monitor database activities, establish performance benchmarks for ongoing and future database modifications including database growth and response time.Resolves database inconsistencies, preserves the agency's information integrity and ensures that corrective actions are taken to prevent reoccurrence of event.Additional assignment as needed.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field and experience in systems development and maintenance, technical support, or the support of complex database management systems. Related experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. If invited to interview, please obtain your Official 10 year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles to bring with you. Official transcripts will be required to verify college degree.
