Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken in Mid-City Los Angeles is an upbeat, fast-paced, casual dining restaurant looking for friendly, dependable Part-Time Cashiers to join our team immediately! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys multitasking, interacting with guests, and being part of a high-energy work environment.

Our recipe was developed in the 1950's in Tennessee. In California, we have locations in Central LA, Burbank, and Orange County. Since we opened in Central LA in the summer of 2016, we have been featured across many magazines and websites including Eater, Zagat, LA Magazine, LA Weekly and Thrillist. In fact, Eater has ranked us as the #1 fried chicken in the city. GQ and Forbes Magazines claim that we have the best fried chicken in the country!

Schedule:

• Part-time hours
• Friday, Saturday, and Sunday availability required
• Closing shift preferred (or open availability on those days)
• Additional hours may be available based on performance

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests with a smile and positive attitude
• Answer phones and take accurate to-go orders
• Input orders from 3rd-party delivery tablets (e.g., DoorDash, Uber Eats)
• Handle walk-in orders, including bagging and passing off to guests or drivers
• Perform side work such as restocking, light cleaning, and shift prep
• Help with end-of-night cleanup and/or morning setup when scheduled
• Communicate effectively with guests, delivery drivers, and team members

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior cashiering and/or serving experience
• Strong multitasking, communication, and time management skills
• Team player with a positive, drama-free attitude
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Weekend availability is a must
