As a Senior Frontend Developer, you’ll shape the architecture, performance, and user experience of our next-generation platform. You’ll work closely with designers, backend engineers, and stakeholders to deliver elegant, reliable, and efficient solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys leading technical innovation in frontend development.

Key Responsibilities

Frontend Architecture & Development

- Design and build scalable, maintainable, and high-performance frontend systems using React and modern build tools.
- Collaborate with UX and Product teams to create responsive, intuitive interfaces for complex workflows.
- Develop and maintain a shared component library to ensure design consistency.
- Implement best practices for state management, API integration, and modular code organization.
- Drive frontend testing strategies using unit, integration, and E2E testing frameworks.

Collaboration & Leadership

- Partner with backend teams to define efficient and secure API contracts.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of learning and code quality.
- Participate in architectural planning and long-term product strategy.
- Advocate for performance optimization, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Contribute to CI/CD automation and streamline build and deployment processes.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

- Evaluate and integrate new frontend technologies to enhance speed and reliability.
- Lead technical initiatives from concept to deployment.
- Collaborate cross-functionally in an agile, fast-iterating environment.
- Champion component-driven development and improve design handoff efficiency.
- Promote experimentation, fast feedback, and agile product delivery.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of professional experience in React or similar frameworks.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and modern CSS (including CSS-in-JS).
- Expertise in frontend architecture, state management (Redux, Zustand, Recoil), and API integration.
- Experience with design systems, component libraries, and Storybook.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern bundlers (Webpack, Vite, Rollup, etc.).
- Knowledge of performance optimization, accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
- Experience in agile or startup environments emphasizing autonomy and ownership.
- (Optional but highly desirable): Experience with React Native and Expo for developing and deploying native mobile applications.
