About Us

We’re a remote tech startup working in payments. Our product, WalletPay, is a modern invoicing tool built to simplify transactions and improve digital payment experiences for service-based businesses, contractors, and freelancers.

The Role

We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer skilled in TypeScript, Node.js, Next.js, C#, and JavaScriptto join our team. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining WalletPay’s web applications, backend services, and integrations with external systems.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape a product from the ground up, directly impacting how businesses and freelancers manage payments. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, and leadership, contributing to architectural decisions, feature development, and overall product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WalletPay’s core application using Next.js (front-end) and Node.js/C# (back-end).

• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Build secure APIs and integrations with payment processors and third-party systems.

• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

• Collaborate with product and design to turn concepts into working features.

• Manage databases, queries, and data models (SQL and/or NoSQL).

• Contribute to system architecture, code reviews, and engineering best practices.

• Debug and troubleshoot full stack issues, ensuring smooth user experiences.

• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or Software Engineer.

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.

• Hands-on experience with Next.js for front-end development.

• Back-end experience with Node.js and C#/.NET for services and APIs.

• Strong understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and authorization.

• Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker).

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, xUnit, etc.).

• Comfortable working in a remote startup environment with high autonomy.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across the stack.

Bonus Points

• Experience with payment platforms, invoicing systems, or fintech products.

• Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.

• Experience with WebSockets or real-time communication.

• Contributions to open-source projects.

Pay: From $3,854.52 per month
