Job Title: Information Technology Director

Reports To: Chief Quality Officer

Job Summary: The IT Director works directly under the supervision of the CQO. This director is responsible for planning, organizing, evaluating IT electronic data operations, managing IT staff, and development of policies and procedures. The IT Director will manage the department in compliance with the philosophy, policies, procedures, goals, and budgeting of hospital operations. The IT Director will also hold the position of Information Privacy Officer.

Requirements: Demonstrates eligibility for employment in the U.S. May be expected to lift up to 10 - 75 pounds occasionally. Work is of medium demand; walking, standing and sitting most of the time while on duty. Entering ceilings and working on the floor will be required. Hours of duty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to the requirements of the job. Manage multiple EHR platforms and regulatory reporting associated with various agencies.

OSHA Exposure Classification:

Job Category III. Task/activities does not entail predictable or unpredictable exposure to blood or other body fluids to which universal precautions apply.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Ability:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field – Required

· Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365, Azure, Dynamics) – Preferred

· ITIL, CompTIA, or similar professional certifications – Preferred

· 5+ years of progressive IT experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing IT staff or vendors.

· Proven experience managing and mentoring IT teams in a multi-location or growing organization.

· Strong hands-on and administrative experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).

· Solid understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, LANs, WANs, wireless networks, cloud services, and security best practices.

· Experience with IT onboarding/offboarding processes, device provisioning, access control, and identity management.

· Ability to act as an escalation point for complex hardware, software, network issues.

· Experience working with external vendors and software licensing agreements.

· Strong knowledge of data security, compliance, and privacy standards.

· Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

· Strong documentation, process improvement, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: $37.42 - $67.58 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
