Daily Responsibilities
- Conduct and evaluate user security awareness initiatives, such as simulated phishing campaigns and training
- Coordinate and support incident response and remediation efforts
- Monitor threat intelligence sources for events, risks, and threats relevant to the institution
- Understand and maintain up-to-date procedural and training documentation for internal department use and distribution to other departments
- Conduct user access reviews across various systems as appropriate for risk and regulatory requirements
- Manage and Monitor host-based protection technologies (IDPS, Firewall , anti-virus, mitigation tools)
- Perform Vulnerability assessments of bank systems, including firewalls, IDPS, web-proxies, and related filters
- Manage and evaluate the rules and policies of the perimeter network systems, including firewalls, IDPS, web-proxies, and related filters
- Monitor logs, alerts, and events generated by bank systems to detect potential security incidents
Requirements
- Security+ Certification
- Past Experience working with SIM, Anti-Virus, and Firewall Products/Tools
- Working Knowledge of security concepts such as encryption, malware behavior, incident response, data loss prevention, penetration testing , etc.
- Previous Experience of secure configuration and management of client and server computer systems
- Working Knowledge of networking concepts, such as protocols, packet analyst, and common attacks
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of combined experience in IT and Information Security
Preferred Qualifications
- Any other relevant Security or IT certification
- Past Experience in banking industry highly preferred
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.63 - $40.00 per hour
