Job Overview
The Director of Information Technology is responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of the IT within our company and affiliates. This role involves ensuring the integrity, security, and efficiency of the organization's technology infrastructure while aligning IT initiatives with business goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of current technologies, and a commitment to driving innovation within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Fulfills requests from business users and operations, communicates technical status updates with appropriate teams, and oversees stability, resiliency, reliability, and the performance of multiple supported systems
- Provides technical leadership
- Supports change implementations, proactively identifies and resolves potential issues resulting from the changes, and performs access and/or physical provisioning/deprovisioning (additions, modifications, and deletions) for infrastructure and applications
- Technical Support & Infrastructure
- Manage, maintain, and enhance IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud platforms, and endpoint devices.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
- Upkeep our inventory management for hardware, software, licensing, certificates, policies, user groups, etc
- Maintain vendor relationships and manage IT procurement processes.
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, Linux, Android, iOS)
- Offboard employees and ensure appropriate access is revoked and security protocols are in place and upheld.
- Manage computer systems through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Assist with desktop support: setup, configuration, repair, and upgrades.
- Maintain and monitor network security measures, including VPNs and firewalls.
- Troubleshoot software issues and provide timely solutions.
- Support LAN/WAN connectivity issues and assist in network configuration.
- Project & Development Assistance.
- Collaborate on app development projects, including work on Sequel, C Languages, Python, JavaScript, and HTML.
- Provide technical input to improve workflows and support innovation.
- Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with team members to improve IT processes and enhance service delivery.
- Communicate effectively with users to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
- Balance independent problem-solving with collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment.
- Assess current network automation practices and recommend improvements.
- Design and implement automation workflows for network provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
- Develop, Deploy, and Manage MDM for iOS and Android
- Database management of QBs, and MS Access.
- Management of all server environments, including: AD, DC, TERM, APP, FTP
Required Qualifications:
- 5-10 years experience in Information Technology
- Proficient with MS Office, Microsoft Entra, Azure, and Teams Admin, MS Sharepoint, MS Access.
- Familiar with hardware, including but not limited to: Dell, Sonic Wall, Unifi, Apple (iOS), Samsung (Android)
- Troubleshooting, Performance tuning, Replication, Encryption and certificates.
- Be flexible in providing on-call rotation support, including off-hours support during weeknights and weekends on a regular basis.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
