Position: Virtual IT Director / Technical Advisor

About the Role:

As a Virtual IT Director at Exigent Technologies, you will manage a select group of accounts and act as the primary technical liaison, strategist, consultant, and advocate for your customers' technology needs. You will provide top-notch guidance and support to help businesses align their IT strategies with their overall goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in or report to customer leadership teams.
• Create an IT plan/roadmap that aligns with customers' business plans.
• Conduct periodic business reviews.
• Utilize technology alignment processes to ensure clients adhere to IT standards and best practices.
• Audit service/project work done by Exigent's engineering teams.
• Identify and orchestrate improvements or optimizations to help customers stay on track towards their goals.
• Act as the Technical Advisor (TA) to uncover technical risks and ensure compliance with technology and industry standards.
• Serve as a liaison and overseer for assigned customers' IT projects.
• Act as the primary Solutions Architect for assigned accounts, devising solutions, and crafting Statements of Work as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IT Director or in a similar IT leadership role.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and manage complex IT environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and implement strategic IT plans.
• Experience in project management and business plan facilitation.
• Familiarity with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is a plus.
• Experience as a Technology Alignment Manager (TAM) is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a Managed IT Services Provider is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
