Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our client. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with GKE/Kubernetes, Terraform, network management, IAM roles and security, and monitoring tools. This is a client-facing onsite role, ideal for someone who thrives in high-impact, fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure infrastructure on GCP using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices

· Manage and optimize GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters, containerized applications, and CI/CD pipelines

· Implement and manage IAM policies, roles, and security best practices across cloud resources

· Oversee network design, VPC configurations, firewall rules, and load balancers

· Set up and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using tools like Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

· Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure seamless deployments and infrastructure reliability

· Ensure compliance with security policies and participate in audits as needed

· Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and provide support for high-availability production systems

Required Skills and Experience:

· 10+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE roles, with at least 4+ years on GCP

· Expert-level knowledge in GCP services, GKE/Kubernetes, and Terraform

· Hands-on experience with cloud networking, VPCs, firewalls, load balancing, etc.

· Strong understanding of IAM roles, policies, and GCP security frameworks

· Experience in setting up and managing monitoring and alerting tools

· Solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and automation

Preferred Qualifications:

· GCP certifications

· Experience with other IaC tools or platforms (e.g., Ansible, Pulumi)

· Familiarity with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments

· Exposure to DevOps practices in regulated or enterprise environments

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
