<Job Overview>
The System Administrator (SA) is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individual participates in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure, cloud and on premises. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values and enable staff.
<Responsibilities>
- Maintenance and support of all Client, Network, and Server systems and their users.
- Perform daily system monitoring, including reviewing system and application logs.
- Research and recommend innovative and automated approaches for tasks.
- Azure Cloud management; [Exchange, Entra, Intune, PowerApps, etc.].
- Develop and maintain Department standards, good configuration, and process documentation.
- Regular OS patching and updates of all system firmware and software.
- Perform daily backup operations, and insuring their quality and appropriate location.
- Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
- Periodic performance reporting to supply resource capacity planning.
- Maintain data center environmental (where appropriate) and monitoring systems.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, upgrades, and resource optimization as required.
- Escalation support from the IT Service Desk and investigate and troubleshoot issues.
- Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.
- Other duties as assigned.
<Qualifications>
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years' experience as System Administrator
- Strong analytical skills
