Schedule: Full-Time / Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Work Environment: On-Site (not a remote role)

About the Role

Midwest Dental is looking for a self-directed TypeScript Software Developer who enjoys building real features and taking ownership of their work. You'll collaborate with stakeholders, work across multiple projects, and turn requirements into clean, maintainable code in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires adaptability, clear communication, and a strong sense of responsibility for code quality.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain TypeScript-based applications and services
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
• Work on multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews

Required Qualifications

• CS degree or equivalent hands-on experience (projects accepted)
• Intermediate TypeScript experience
• Node.js (Bun or Deno acceptable)
• Basic SQL (CRUD with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or SQLite)
• Familiar with REST APIs
• Git/GitHub experience (CLI, repositories, pull requests)
• Basic knowledge of networking, Linux CLI, schema design, and system design
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
• HTML/CSS fundamentals

Nice to Have (Not Required)

• React, Next.js, or other TypeScript fronted frameworks
• React Native or Expo
• Advanced SQL
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Docker or Kubernetes
• Systems-level languages (Go, Java, C++, C#, Rust)
• AI/LLM experience

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
