Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable IT Director and Middle School Computer Teacher to join our team. This full-time position combines technology leadership with classroom instruction, providing an exciting opportunity to shape both the school’s technology infrastructure and our students’ digital literacy.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all school-wide IT operations and systems
- Coordinate laptop distribution, maintenance, and updates for students and staff
- Administer Office 365 accounts and applications
- Administer Google Workspace accounts and Chromebooks
- Support and maintain classroom smart panels and related instructional technology
- Teach middle school computer classes, including keyboarding and digital skills
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and effectively
- Provide guidance and training to staff on technology use and best practices
- Assist with multimedia systems, including sound, camera, and lighting equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Education Technology, or a related field
- Prior experience in technology management and/or classroom instruction
- Strong understanding of Microsoft and Google Workspace environments, hardware maintenance, and educational technology
- Familiarity with multimedia resources such as audio systems, video equipment, and lighting controls
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- A heart for Christian education and a desire to invest in students’ spiritual and academic growth
