About Dunton Management Company

Dunton Management Company oversees a collection of small, luxury hospitality properties in Colorado, including Dunton Hot Springs, Dunton River Camp, Dunton Town House, and Lumière by Dunton. Our properties are service-driven and design-focused, requiring dependable, secure, and well-managed technology that supports both operations and the guest experience.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to oversee all IT systems across our Colorado properties and serve as the primary internal IT lead.

Position Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and improving all technology systems across Dunton’s Colorado properties. This role combines day-to-day operational support with longer-term planning and vendor coordination. The environment is primarily cloud-based, with no on-premise servers.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, service-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple properties in a hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

IT Operations and Support

  • Oversee all IT systems across Dunton properties, including networks, Wi-Fi, hardware, phones, printers, POS, PMS integrations, and guest-facing technology
  • Provide on-site and remote IT support to staff and management
  • Ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing network and internet systems
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across cloud-based platforms
  • Support Google Workspace administration, including users, groups, permissions, and security settings

Cloud Systems and Security

  • Manage and maintain cloud-based systems and applications
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity best practices, backups, and updates
  • Ensure compliance with payment security standards and internal IT policies
  • Oversee data protection and basic incident response procedures

Vendor and Systems Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external IT vendors, software providers, internet providers, and hardware suppliers
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, renewals, and performance
  • Assist with evaluating, selecting, and implementing hospitality systems such as PMS, POS, payment platforms, and communication tools

Projects and Improvements

  • Support renovations, system upgrades, and new technology rollouts
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and user experience through technology
  • Assist with planning and executing IT initiatives for future growth

Documentation and Training

  • Maintain clear documentation of systems, vendors, credentials, and procedures
  • Create simple SOPs for recurring IT processes
  • Provide basic training and guidance to staff on systems and best practices

Qualifications

Required

  • 5 or more years of experience in IT management, systems administration, or a similar role
  • Strong understanding of cloud-based systems and modern IT environments
  • Solid knowledge of networking, Wi-Fi infrastructure, hardware, and endpoint management
  • Experience supporting multiple locations or complex operating environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented approach
  • Ability to travel between Colorado properties as needed

Preferred

  • Experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or service-focused environments
  • Familiarity with hotel PMS, POS, and payment systems
  • Experience administering Google Workspace
  • Experience working with outsourced IT providers while acting as the internal owner of systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
