Senior IT Administrator - VICIdial Platform

MyAutoGuard is one of the fastest-growing vehicle service contract companies in the country, with multiple offices nationwide and a clear goal: becoming a household name. As we continue to grow our brand, we are looking for an in-house Senior IT Administrator ‑ VICIdial Platform (SITA) to join our team.

The SITA will report to the Business-Technology Manager. It's a perfect job for a systems engineer who loves “closing tickets” and writing the script that prevents them from ever reopening. You’ll keep 100+ agents online, automate routine dialer chores, and harden the underlying Linux infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Tier‑1/2 & Platform Ops

• Resolve agent issues: headsets, soft‑phones, workstation builds, SIP credentials
• Import lead files, execute DNC scrubs, adjust campaigns via VICIdial GUI & CLI
• Maintain Linux servers (Ubuntu/CentOS), apply patches, manage SSL certificates
• Perform nightly MySQL dumps; run quarterly restore drills

DevOps & Automation

• Develop Ansible or Bash scripts for patching, user provisioning, and backup validation
• Configure Netdata/Grafana alerts; fine‑tune thresholds to reduce false positives
• Manage network switches (VLAN, QoS), firewalls, and PoE phones in the call floor
• Write lightweight Python utilities to parse carrier CDRs and feed dashboards

Security & Compliance

• Enforce least‑privilege access via SSH key rotation and vault management
• Track asset inventory, warranty status, and RMA process
• Collaborate with the Manager on root‑cause analyses and preventive controls

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 yrs Linux sysadmin or DevOps in a VoIP or high‑uptime environment
• Working knowledge of VICIdial/Asterisk or comparable dialer platform
• Comfort with MySQL basics, shell scripting, and network troubleshooting (TCP/UDP, SIP, RTP)
• Exposure to container tech (Docker) and Git workflow
• RHCSA, or similar certification
• Willingness to be on call 24/7

Please note: This position is on-site in our Santa Ana office and not a work-remote position.
