Role Description

We’re looking for a Mobile Application Developer with strong experience building and maintaining full native applications for both iOS and Android. The ideal candidate is a hands-on developer comfortable with API integration, mobile data handling, mapping technology and cross-platform frameworks.

You’ll work closely with systems engineers, UI/UX designers, and QA teams to build a reliable, performant mobile experience — with an emphasis on clean architecture, maintainable code, and smooth user interactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications
• Implement API integrations for data synchronization, user authentication, and real-time updates.
• Familiarity with Mapbox, Foursquare and Yelp integrations.
• Integrate mapping SDKs (Google Maps, Mapbox, or OpenStreetMap) to support navigation and geolocation features.
• Write clean, modular, and testable code following best practices in mobile development.
• Collaborate with designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, responsive mobile interfaces.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development workflows.
• Test and debug mobile features across different platforms and environments.
• Assist in deploying updates across development, staging, and production environments.

Qualifications

Required:

• Expert knowledge using Python/Django and Ruby
• 4-6 years of professional experience in mobile app development.
• Proven experience with cross-platform frameworks (Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin).
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, and app lifecycle.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and version control best practices.
• Understanding of mapping SDKs, geolocation, and navigation logic.
• Strong debugging, testing, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with navigation, transportation, or real-time data applications.
• Basic knowledge of containerization tools (Docker) or DevOps workflows.
• Prior experience working in an agile or startup environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
