Job Description

We are seeking a talented Front-End UI/UX developer to join our team to design and implement user interfaces for a suite of services involving the display and processing of geospatial data, imagery, and video. As a primary developer responsible for curating the user experience for our customers, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our product meets the needs of our customers, while providing a visually appealing and easy-to-use experience.

Expectations:

· Collaborate with design teams and development teams to create responsive and appealing user interfaces for web-centric services

· Implement responsive design principles to support a variety of browsers and visual interfaces

· Quickly develop mockups and prototypes for customer interactions and iterations on design concepts

· Use best practices for user experience design, and rapidly incorporate user feedback in prototypes and final interfaces

· Participate in all phases of the development life cycle and ensure timely delivery of demos and projects

Position Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field

· At least 2 years’ experience (or equivalent) in front end development or UI/UX design

· Demonstrated proficiency in CSS/SASS and JavaScript/Typescript

· Demonstrated proficiency with React

· Demonstrated expertise with UI/UX design and component-based development

· Demonstrated familiarity with design tools such as Figma

· Experience with both Windows and Linux environments

· Experience with containerization and cloud environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) a plus.

· A strong sense of project ownership

· Proven ability to follow project specs and deadlines

· Candidates willing to undergo the process to obtain a security clearance and will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
