Job Description:
As a Data Science Apprentice, you will play an active role in data mining, analysis, and the development of predictive models. This role is ideal for candidates with a basic knowledge of Python who are eager to further their skills and gain practical experience in a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze extensive transactional databases to identify patterns in customer behavior
- Assist in designing, coding, and testing new data science features
- Collaborate with the Data Science team to better understand our customer base and provide valuable insights
What You'll Learn:
- Advanced Python programming including object oriented programming, and use of advanced data wrangling libraries
- Operating and analyzing large databases
- Data visualization and presentation
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Python (understanding of syntax, and basic OOP concepts such as classes, functions, etc.).
- Fundamental concepts of statistics (mean, median, mode, etc.).
- Basic understanding of relational databases. Fundamentals in SQL are an asset.
- Problem-solving mindset with good attention to detail, and can-do attitude.
