Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our analytics team. This role is primarily focused on hands-on data analysis and data modeling (approximately 80%), with a smaller emphasis on advanced analytics and insight generation (approximately 20%). The ideal candidate has strong SQL expertise, experience with modern analytics tools, and a background supporting People Analytics or HR-related data.

Key Responsibilities

· Perform hands-on data analysis to deliver accurate, actionable insights to stakeholders

· Write advanced SQL queries using window functions, CTEs, joins, and optimized query logic

· Build, maintain, and optimize SQL-based data transformations using dbt

· Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting in Looker

· Partner with People Analytics, HR, and business teams to support workforce and talent analytics

· Analyze data from systems such as Greenhouse and Workday to support reporting and decision-making

· Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across analytics workflows

· Translate business requirements into clear analytical solutions

· Support ad-hoc analysis and strategic initiatives as needed

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Advanced SQL expertise, including extensive use of window functions

· Strong experience with Looker (required)

· Hands-on experience building and maintaining transformations in dbt

· Strong background in data analysis with exposure to analytics and insights work

· Experience using Google Sheets and Excel for analysis and reporting

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

· Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with LookML development

· Background in People Analytics

· Hands-on experience with Greenhouse (ATS)

· Hands-on experience with Workday (HRIS)

· Experience supporting HR, recruiting, or workforce data initiatives

Role Profile

This is a hands-on Senior Data Analyst role focused on owning datasets end-to-end—from transformation to reporting to stakeholder insights. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working closely with cross-functional partners.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour
