JOB DESCRIPTION

The Bank of Monroe is seeking an experienced Information Systems Management Administrator to join our team. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in information technology systems, vast knowledge of cybersecurity management, the ability to identify vulnerabilities and threats, while fostering a culture of security awareness, collaborating with third party management engineers, and supporting team members at all skill levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Technical support and troubleshooting for users
  • Setup and maintenance of hardware and software
  • Computer and printer installations
  • System upgrades and updates
  • Monitor network and computer systems for security threats and vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate on disaster recovery testing and planning
  • Conduct inventory management
  • Document IT System records
  • Train staff to improve computer skills and knowledge of computer systems
  • Conduct routine testing including vulnerability scans
  • Collaborate with Third Party System Administrators on helpdesk tickets
  • Assist with specialized projects
  • Participate in committee meetings
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity awareness and network security
  • Assist with Audits and Exams
  • Complete other duties as assigned.

Education, Certification, License and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business information systems, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Five years of computer systems management experience, two years of banking/business experience, or equivalent.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, leadership and supervisory skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Supportive, goal-oriented personality, with high degree of professionalism.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Responsible for knowing and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as they pertain to the position.
