JOB DESCRIPTION
The Bank of Monroe is seeking an experienced Information Systems Management Administrator to join our team. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in information technology systems, vast knowledge of cybersecurity management, the ability to identify vulnerabilities and threats, while fostering a culture of security awareness, collaborating with third party management engineers, and supporting team members at all skill levels.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Technical support and troubleshooting for users
- Setup and maintenance of hardware and software
- Computer and printer installations
- System upgrades and updates
- Monitor network and computer systems for security threats and vulnerabilities
- Collaborate on disaster recovery testing and planning
- Conduct inventory management
- Document IT System records
- Train staff to improve computer skills and knowledge of computer systems
- Conduct routine testing including vulnerability scans
- Collaborate with Third Party System Administrators on helpdesk tickets
- Assist with specialized projects
- Participate in committee meetings
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity awareness and network security
- Assist with Audits and Exams
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Education, Certification, License and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or business information systems, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Five years of computer systems management experience, two years of banking/business experience, or equivalent.
Skills and Knowledge:
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Supportive, goal-oriented personality, with high degree of professionalism.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Responsible for knowing and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines, as they pertain to the position.
