.NET Developer with SQL Server Expertise – Long Island

In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of custom .NET Windows and web applications. Your work will directly contribute to building reliable, scalable, and high-performance systems that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain high-volume, low-latency Windows and web-based .NET applications.
• Contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Analyze user requirements to define clear business objectives.
• Envision and develop new system features and functionality.
• Develop, test, and maintain software applications.
• Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Create comprehensive design documentation.
• Recommend and implement improvements to existing .NET infrastructure.
• Design technical architectures for application development.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code.
• Conduct software analysis, programming, debugging, and testing.
• Support ongoing improvement by researching and evaluating new technologies for architectural reviews.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with C# and .NET development.
• Strong background in software architecture and system design.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and development of complex views and stored procedures.
• Experience with data warehousing and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
• Excellent organizational skills and a strong work ethic.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
