Position Title: IT VMO Program Coordinator
Location: San Jose, CA 95002
Pay Rate: $60–$70 per hour
Contract Duration: 6 Months (Potential for Extension)
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days/week on-site: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
Overtime: Available with Prior Manager Approval
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Coupa and Productive platforms

About the Role

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented IT VMO Program Coordinator to support the Vendor Management Office of a leading FinTech organization. This role offers a rare opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full vendor lifecycle, working closely with a high-performing team and directly supporting the VMO Program Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Vendor Data Management: Maintain and update vendor records, perform system cleanups, and ensure data accuracy across VMO platforms.
  • Procurement & Lifecycle Support: Assist in onboarding, performance monitoring, compliance tracking, and offboarding for third-party vendors.
  • Contract Oversight: Monitor contract timelines, support renewal processes, and assist in negotiation tracking to ensure optimal terms and continuity.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Support regular reporting on vendor spend, performance, and risk indicators. Help surface trends and areas for improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and recommend improvements to streamline VMO processes and increase operational efficiency.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Liaise with internal stakeholders across IT, Legal, Finance, and Procurement to uphold governance and compliance standards.
  • Executive Support: Provide administrative and project support to the VMO Program Manager, including scheduling, presentation development, and meeting preparation.

  • Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal skills; comfortable interfacing with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in using databases, productivity software, and VMO-related tools. Experience with Coupa and Productive is a plus.
  • Self-Starter: Eager to learn, take initiative, and grow professionally within the vendor management field.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and dependable, with a positive attitude and high professional standards.

PAY TRANSPARENCY POLICY STATEMENT

Compensation for roles at Suna Solutions varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific client, office or remote location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Suna Solutions provides a reasonable pay scale to include the hourly or salary range that Suna Solutions reasonably expects to pay for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below.
