IQS is seeking a highly motivated Junior Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of website design and development, and some experience working with WordPress or similar content management systems.

The Junior Developer role is an entry-level position that supports the development team with tasks such as adding new content to web pages, updating scripts, improving SEO, enhancing page speed, running reports, and troubleshooting basic website issues.

The candidate will be expected to work with:

- HTML and CSS

- PHP and JavaScript

- SQL

- WordPress

- FTP tools such as FileZilla

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-friendly web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to implement responsive web designs and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and manage database interactions using SQL.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team discussions to improve overall code quality.

Because we are an SEO agency, it is important for the candidate to have practical knowledge of search engine optimization or a willingness to learn SEO as part of their web development responsibilities.
