Job Title: Junior Systems Administrator (Level 0/1 & 2)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Junior Systems Administrator to support and maintain our IT infrastructure across various platforms and technologies. This role is ideal for someone with experience in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms, and who is eager to expand their expertise across multiple security and backup solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support across Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware), and various security solutions.
• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot server and system infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies in Active Directory.
• Administer core IT platforms such as Datto, Axcient, Proofpoint, Duo, and Microsoft 365.
• Perform routine system maintenance, patching, and updates.
• Assist with backup and disaster recovery operations.
• Collaborate with Level 1 support and escalate issues to Level 3 or vendors as needed.
• Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
• Participate in infrastructure improvement projects and deployments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in a systems administration role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Entry level experience supporting IT security and backup solutions such as Datto, Axcient, Proofpoint, Duo.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, Microsoft, or security-related certifications) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Azure AD, Intune, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Exposure to ITIL practices and ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of backup solutions and monitoring tools.
