Elite Executive Partners is seeking an IT Infrastructure Administrator for a rapidly growing client.
The IT Infrastructure Administrator is a mid-level role focused on supporting company IT infrastructure through system implementation, administration, and Tier 2 support. This position ensures the stability and reliability of servers, applications, and core systems while assisting with ongoing infrastructure projects. The Infrastructure Administrator plays a hands-on role in supporting users, maintaining IT services, and implementing improvements that strengthen the technology environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· System Implementation & Administration
- Deploy, configure, and maintain servers, applications, and software solutions.
- Assist in implementing upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts.
- Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations and changes.
· Tier 2 Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 2 support for escalated infrastructure and system-related issues.
- Troubleshoot problems across systems and applications to restore services quickly.
- Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or vendors as needed.
· Operational Monitoring & Maintenance
- Monitor system performance, backups, and patching to ensure availability.
- Support identity and access management, including Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Assist with maintaining virtualization environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
· Collaboration & Security Support
- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Engineer and Security & Networking Manager to implement best practices.
- Support compliance with IT policies, security standards, and audit requirements.
- Assist with vulnerability remediation and incident response efforts as directed.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- 3–5 years of experience in systems administration or IT infrastructure support roles.
- Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues at the Tier 2 level.
- Ability to document processes clearly and work both independently and in a team setting.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., Microsoft MCSA/Associate, CompTIA Server+).
TRAVEL, HOURS OF WORK, & SUPERVISION:
This position allows for a hybrid/remote work arrangement; however, the individual must reside within reasonable commuting distance of a location to be physically present as required. The position will require travel to other locations as necessary. This position will report to the CIO or other IT leadership.

Pay: $67,927.65 - $81,805.34 per year
