Immediate opening for a JAVA SOFTWARE ENGINEER / SCIENTIST with an engineering background to join a growing International team of top-notch professionals. Main duties will include developing software for advanced NDE (non-destructive evaluation_ applications, specifically dealing with Phased Array Ultrasound, High Resolution Imaging Algorithms and interfacing with high-speed data acquisition instrumentation. The ideal candidate would have a solid experience with Java, some C++ and is able to be hands on in working with integrated inspection systems to make it all work. Previous work that involved algorithm development, optimization, or parallel processing is highly desirable.

Accepting candidates with an M.S. or PH.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Bio-medical, Material Science, Physics or other Engineering Science discipline.

Most of the R&D staff have a Ph.D., but this is not a requirement.

Minimum Skills Required - Demonstrated experience in Java (or C++)

Skills Appreciated - Real time data acquisition and graphical data display. Knowledge and research experience in Ultrasound and NDE. Signal Process Theory / Methods. Physics and advanced mathematics.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
