Job Summary:
The IT Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the bank's IT infrastructure, providing support to staff, managing relationships with third-party IT vendors, and overseeing IT governance. This role serves as the chair of the IT Committee and plays a key role in maintaining IT policies, procedures, and vendor management processes to ensure compliance, security, and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Support & Administration:
- Provide general IT support to staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of workstations, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Coordinate with HR on new hires to ensure all system accesses are created and provide initial training on IT-related matters.
- Ensure timely resolution of IT-related inquiries and escalate issues to third-party vendors when necessary.
- Serve as the owner of all the bank’s internet banking products and BI tools.
Vendor Management & IT Governance:
- Manage the bank’s third-party IT vendor, ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact for vendor support, monitoring performance and addressing issues.
- Oversee the vendor management process, including contract renewals, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
IT Committee Leadership & Compliance:
- Serve as the chair of the IT Committee, leading discussions and initiatives to enhance technology strategy.
- Maintain and update IT policies and procedures to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure IT security and data protection measures are in place.
Technology Planning & Implementation:
- Identify opportunities for technology improvements that enhance efficiency and security.
- Support the implementation of new systems and upgrades in coordination with vendors and internal teams.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations related to IT and cybersecurity.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, vendor management, or banking technology.
- Strong understanding of IT security, network management, and compliance standards in the financial industry.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively across departments.
