Job Description: Junior Front-End Developer
We're a marketplace startup looking for a Junior Front-End Developer to join our team. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining user-friendly web interfaces using modern front-end technologies. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive web interfaces using React.js, Next.js, and Tailwind CSS.
- Work with designers and backend developers to implement UI/UX features.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
- Optimize performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues.
- Follow best practices for accessibility, security, and code quality.
- Participate in team discussions and code reviews to improve development processes.
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in front-end development (including internships ).
- Proficiency in React.js and Next.js (or willingness to learn Next.js).
- Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
- Familiarity with Tailwind CSS and modern UI libraries.
- Basic knowledge of version control (Git/GitHub).
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with REST APIs and working with backend developers.
- Knowledge of online marketplace platforms.
- Understanding of performance optimization and SEO basics.
Hours & Work Location:
- Full-time, in-office position in Austin, TX
- Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM
