About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Technical Solution Manager to join our innovative team. The Technical Solution Manager serves as the technical lead for Robroy’s IFS Cloud ERP system, driving innovation, excellence, and best practices across all integration, deployment, and solution architecture activities. The Technical Solution Manager mentors and guides a team of developers and solution architects, ensuring optimal system performance, robust integrations, and successful project delivery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Own the technical architecture, integrations, customizations and security of the IFS platform.
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of integration strategies between IFS and other enterprise systems (CRM, PLM, MES, third-party applications).
- Act as the primary technical escalation point for IFS issues.
- Design and govern IFS Integrations (IFS Connect, REST APIs, Events, Message
- Queues), Customizations & Extensions (Aurena, Projection, Custom Pages), Reports & Documents (Quick Reports, SSRS, Document Management)
- Enforce upgrade-safe customization strategy.
- Review and approve technical designs and code.
- Design and execute deployment plans for IFS Applications, ensuring minimal downtime and alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, business analysts, project managers) to ensure readiness for deployment activities.
- Manage and optimize deployment pipelines to streamline delivery of application updates and enhancements.
- Establish and maintain Build Place/production/development environments, ensuring technical specifications and project objectives are met.
- Coordinate integration of build artifacts, ensuring version control and adherence to release management protocols.
- Monitor performance and stability of Build Place environments, implementing improvements to optimize build processes.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the development team during build and deployment cycles.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and development opportunities for a team of developers and solution architects.
- Work closely with stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to gather requirements, align on goals, and deliver effective technical solutions.
- Establish and enforce development standards, coding practices, and documentation procedures to maintain high-quality solutions.
- Drive integration projects from concept through deployment, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience for 5+ years with IFS ERP (preferably IFS Cloud).
- Strong background in system integration and middleware technologies.
- Proficiency in IFS Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, XML, XSLT, and web services.
- Solid understanding of event-driven architectures and messaging protocols.
- Previous experience mentoring or leading technical teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development frameworks.
- Certifications in IFS or related technologies.
- Advanced proficiency in IFS ERP administration and configuration.
- Experience with SQL, reporting tools, and data analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, Zoom, etc.).
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $145,000.00 - $155,000.00 per year
