Job Overview

The Full Stack Web Developer will collaborate with staff and members to build, maintain, and scale our applications and features. You will be an essential member of a cross-functional team that includes software engineers, product managers, marketers, and designers. Technologies We Use

• Primary: LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP)
• Frameworks: Laravel and other MVC frameworks as needed
• Frontend: JavaScript, React, CSS3, HTML5
• Infrastructure: AWS cloud

Responsibilities

• Tackle difficult and ambiguous problems as part of a cross-functional team.
• Engage in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from estimation and development to QA, deployment, and maintenance.
• Implement, scale, and maintain web applications.
• Document research findings, note trade-offs, and recommend solutions to meet business needs.
• Collaborate across the engineering department to ensure adherence to best practices.

Requirements

• 4-7 years of professional programming experience in PHP, MySQL, React, CSS3, HTML5, jQuery, and native JavaScript.
• Strong knowledge of software principles, application architecture, data structures, coding conventions, and security practices.
• Experience with GIT in team projects.
• Proficiency in Laravel or another major MVC framework.
• Responsive web development skills.
• Experience with WordPress, particularly custom themes and plugins, is advantageous.

Position Details

• Type: Full-time
• Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
• Location: On-site in Bohemia, NY 11716
• Work Schedule: 8-hour shift, Monday to Friday
• Hybrid Work: Available, though candidates must be local and able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
