Job Description:

  • Work with the architect and integration team to implement the latest internet security standard and functions
  • Perform use case analysis and create user functional and system requirements for web applications
  • Conduct mathematical modeling and create application-specific data models and architecture
  • Participate in design discussions, reviews, daily standup, and customer meetings
  • Define and analyze system functions and conduct various cybersecurity tests using software tools
  • Prepare technical reports, white papers, and user documentations
  • Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to support customers
  • Attend various technical and professional conferences. Local and out-of-state travel (less than 10%)

Qualifications:

  • BS or BA degree in science, math, system engineering, or a related field with 2+ years of experience
  • Knowledge and experience in internet and cybersecurity, good understanding of NIST security controls (SP-800 series), and related experience
  • Knowledge and experience with various network-based and host-based security tools, e.g. Snort, Splunk, Nmap, Wireshark, Metasploit, OSSEC, Suricata, etc.
  • Excellent analysis, problem solving, and communication skills. Good writing skill is a must-have.
  • Knowledge and experience in software development, usability and requirement analysis are preferred
  • Great organizational ability and capability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment
