We are currently seeking an IT Technical Manager.
The IT Technical Manager leads technical innovation initiatives, systems administration, and business continuity while ensuring the organization's technical infrastructure remains secure, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. This role combines strategic technical leadership with hands-on operational management and cybersecurity oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Operations
- Lead and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure (on-premises and cloud)
- Oversee system administration, monitoring, and optimization
- Manage network architecture and telecommunications
- Ensure high availability of critical systems
- Implement and maintain virtualization platforms
- Oversee database administration and optimization
- Manage backup and recovery systems
- Monitor and optimize system performance
Security & Compliance
- Direct cybersecurity strategy and implementation
- Oversee security operations and incident response
- Maintain security policies and procedures
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks
- Manage security audits and assessments
- Oversee identity and access management
- Direct vulnerability management program
- Coordinate security awareness training
Technical Innovation
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies
- Develop proof-of-concept implementations
- Lead digital transformation initiatives
- Architect solutions for business requirements
- Drive cloud adoption and optimization
- Implement automation and DevOps practices
- Explore AI/ML opportunities and implementation
- Guide API strategy and integration
Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery
- Develop and maintain BC/DR plans
- Conduct regular disaster recovery testing
- Manage incident response procedures
- Ensure redundancy of critical systems
- Coordinate emergency response team
- Maintain business impact analysis
- Oversee backup and failover systems
- Document recovery procedures
Technical Team Leadership
- Mentor and develop technical staff
- Provide technical guidance and architecture reviews

Performance & Quality

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or technical operations
- 3+ years of management experience in a technical environment
- Strong knowledge of current IT infrastructure technologies
- Experience with business continuity planning
- Proven track record in cybersecurity management
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical certifications (Microsoft, CISSP, AWS/Azure, CCNA, VMware, CEH, ITIL)
- Project management certification (PMP)
- DevOps methodology experience
