IT Specialist/Systems Administrator
Thrive Therapy of Kansas
Full-time
Wichita, KS
Job description
About the Role
We are currently hiring an IT Specialist to own day-to-day IT operations and lead new tech implementations across the organization. You’ll manage Dialpad (T-Mobile), mobile device management (MDM), Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and all tech asset management—while serving as the first point of contact for internal support. We’re looking for a self-starter with strong leadership and initiative who can improve performance, standardize systems, and scale our tech stack.
What You’ll Do
1) IT & Telecommunications (≈35%)
- Serve as the first-line support for hardware/software/network/user issues; resolve or escalate to Weavem/vendors.
- Administer Dialpad (T-Mobile): add/remove users, assign devices/numbers, set permissions, call flows, voicemail, and analytics.
- Manage MDM (e.g., Microsoft Intune/ABM): enroll/provision devices, push apps/profiles, enforce security/compliance, remote wipe/lock.
- Maintain an accurate IT asset inventory (laptops, phones, tablets, peripherals) with assignment tracking and lifecycle planning.
- Administer Microsoft 365 licensing/accounts; manage access to EMR and other security-sensitive systems.
- Keep current system access logs and audit-ready documentation.
2) SharePoint Management (≈25%)
- Own SharePoint structure & permissions across departments.
- Ensure SOPs, reports, and operational docs are stored logically with metadata/tags for quick retrieval.
- Maintain document version control and retention; train staff on file storage best practices and improve adoption.
3) Implementation & Optimization (≈25%)
- Lead rollouts of new tools (communication, EMR enhancements, automation, integrations).
- Map processes, define requirements, pilot, document SOPs, and drive organization-wide adoption.
- Track KPIs (uptime, ticket SLAs, adoption, cost per device) and deliver improvement plans.
4) Security, Compliance & Risk (≈15%)
- Enforce MFA, device encryption, patching, least-privilege, and data-loss prevention.
- Support audits (HIPAA/PHI handling, security reviews); maintain incident logs and run playbooks for device loss/theft.
- Standardize backups/retention for critical systems; coordinate with vendors on vulnerabilities and updates.
What You Bring
- 2–4+ years in IT support/administration (SMB or multi-site environment preferred).
- Hands-on with Microsoft 365/Entra ID, Intune (or similar MDM), SharePoint/OneDrive, and VoIP (Dialpad preferred).
- Proven ability to lead implementations and drive cross-functional adoption—not just maintain systems.
- Solid troubleshooting across Windows/macOS/iOS, printers, networks (basic switch/AP/firewall concepts).
- Strong documentation habits (SOPs, asset logs, change notes) and customer-service mindset.
- Bonus: experience with EMR systems, automation (Power Automate), Apple Business Manager, basic scripting (PowerShell).
Why You’ll Love It Here
- Mission-driven work supporting patients and providers.
- Ownership of core systems with room to standardize and scale.
- Competitive pay, benefits (medical/dental/401k), PTO, and professional growth.
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time, primarily weekday hours with occasional after-hours maintenance or on-call support.
- Some local travel to sites; ability to lift/transport IT equipment (up to ~35 lbs).
