Position Overview:
The Director of Database & Analysis is responsible for the overall Database Marketing efforts and analyses for MACR while supervising the Database and Analysis Department staff members. The Director of Database & Analysis assumes responsibility for ensuring that the departments under his/her supervision are operating within the guidelines of Mount Airy Casino Resorts policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.
Essential Job Functions:

Provides the analytics that will assist the Marketing Department with short and long term strategic and business planning aimed at increasing brand awareness, market share and revenue. In conjunction with Marketing Department establish priorities and objectives for MACR database and direct marketing efforts.

In conjunction with the Marketing Department design and implement loyalty and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategies, programs and new initiatives.
- Develops, interprets and implements complex analyses for all departments and assists in planning, control and performance evaluation in support of the MACR overall profitability, guest satisfaction, and workforce strength and compliance goals. Monitor MACR market position, competitive set, customer trends and other influences on the brand direction and customer segments.

Conduct special studies to analyze complex financial actions and prepares recommendations for policy, procedure, control, or action.

Develop and provide on-going analyses related to customer profitability, customer responses and customer profile information.

Provide segmentation analyses of customer database to assist marketing department in developing new products and promotions.

Lead the analysis team in developing new database analyses, accumulating data, and drawing conclusions based on that data.

Effectively presents information and respond to questions from executives and managers.

Establish databases of pertinent information for use in analyzing future plans and forecasts.

Research and prepare economic reports on subjects such as rate of return, working capital requirements, and the impact of governmental requirements.

Meets the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.

Attend all necessary training meetings.

Assist in other projects, as directed.

Education/Experience:

Must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older upon employment.

3-10 years of relevant experience with minimum 5 years overseeing a database/marketing function.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Mathematics, MBA or other Masters degree in related field(s) preferred.

Previous experience in a gaming environment preferred.
