CNC Lathe Programmer, Set-up and Operation

Turbo Machined Products seeks talented CNC Lathe Programmer and set-up person to join CNC machine shop specializing in aerospace and power generation in Frankfort, NY.

General Duties:

· Program, set-up, operate and maintain the setup of the assigned operation.

· Program and setup Mazak Lathes using Mazatrol and EIA.

· Inspect and control the quality of product at the specific operation being performed.

· Assure that the product being manufactured is within the requirements and specifications of the engineering drawing and/or the purchase order.

· Additional tasks will be assigned from time to time as needed to meet Turbo Machined Products customer’s needs.

Qualifications:

· 5 years of experience CNC lathe programming experience preferred.

· Ability to program, set-up and operate 3 axis CNC lathe machining centers.

· Ability to use the computer programming software like Mastercam, various hand tools and measuring equipment including but not limited to, micrometer, depth micrometer caliper, height stand, Indicator, dial indicator snap gages, radius gages etc.

· Previous experience programing and setting up Mazak lathes using Mazatrol and EIA preferred.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and be responsible for the proper acquisition of the required tooling through the TMP purchase order system.

· Ability to articulate and demonstrate knowledge of the functions and equipment above.
