Shipping Clerk - 1st Shift - Wheeling, IL

Handi-Foil, an industry leader in the manufacture, sale, marketing and distribution of disposable aluminum bakeware, has an immediate opening for a shipping clerk on first shift at our facility in Wheeling, IL. This privately held company has been in business for over forty years and is experiencing strong growth year after year.

Position Overview:

• Generate/release all shipping documentation for orders scheduled to ship out for requested number of days out including labels and special customer requirements.
• Confirm orders that have physically shipped
• Schedule pick up appt’s
• Process orders using ERP System (Oracle).
• Check-in window, assign dock doors to driver.
• Respond to emails and phone calls
• Assist with dock personnel requests.
• Run reports

The requirements are:

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in an administrative/clerical position
• preferably in a manufacturing setting
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Well organized, responsible and reliable
• Strong communication skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a must
• Familiar with Oracle is a plus
• Willing to be crossed trained
