The company is looking to add an experienced developer based on the US West Coast, preferably in the Portland (OR) area.

A POSITION THAT MATCHES YOUR SKILLS

The Application Developer is responsible for implementing the tasks assigned by the project managers and completing them within the established deadlines, budgets, scope, and standards. Working closely with the project managers and other members of the development team, the Application Developer makes sure to deliver the work requested with the highest degree of quality. The main duties include programming, quality assurance and delivery of the assigned development projects.

Main tasks include participating in the development of requirements (analysis documents), the execution of programming work and quality control. The projects assigned are linked to the Claris FileMaker platform for deployment on the network (local and/or in the Cloud).

WHEN IT CLICKS!

Education:

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• FileMaker Certification, acquired or in progress

Experience

Five (5) years developing applications with the Claris FileMaker platform as a consultant or in a consultancy firm.

Language:

Excellent oral and written communication in English.

Software:

• Excellent knowledge of the FileMaker platform
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)

Assets:

• Familiarity with AI integration (LLM)
• Understanding AGILE and SCRUM methods
• Ability to create SQL queries
• Experience in Web programming (PHP / XML / JSON / HTML5 / JavaScript)
• Oral and written communication in French
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps or other project management tool
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Occasional onsite visits to customers
• Experience working in multi-developer teams in large, complex systems
• Experience with REST API integration

WORKING CONDITIONS

Schedule - 35 hrs/week (full-time)

Salary - Between $40/hr and $50/hr, based on experience
